Successful businessman Joe Benjamin has admittedly had a wonderful life. He has a flourishing business selling boxes while living with his family in their beautiful Long Island mansion. Joe, being a devout religious man, attributes all of his success and happiness to the big “G” himself: God. But when an eccentric messenger from God visits Joe all hell breaks loose!  Joe, God’s favorite servant, is being put to the test; he must either renounce his faith in God or suffer severe consequences. The jokes and tests of faith fly fast and furious as Neil Simon spins a contemporary morality tale like no other in this hilarious comedy.

Directed by Dylan Brainard

Hone your craft this summer by training with professional teaching artists who will help you develop as an actor and a technician.

The summer programs offered are condensed versions of some of the classes that we have during the school year at CSDC. The emphasis during the summer is on the process, not the product. You’ll be challenged to learn and grow as artists, you’ll spend time with great people, and you’ll have access to some wonderful theatrical resources.

We will have four Theatrical Thursdays, which are one day workshops on a variety of topics. There is also a two week performance camp which will perform an interactive murder mystery, and a concurrent two week technical theatre camp which will prepare and execute the tech aspects of the show.

Note: The two week camps are not leisure camps. While the emphasis is on the process, students will be challenged to perform and to tech at pre-professional levels to produce a quality product in a short period of time.
