SATCO Presents Grant Writing Workshop
WHAT: The SAN ANTONIO THEATRE COALITION (SATCO) hosts a one-day workshop for producers, “GRANT WRITING DONE RIGHT”.

DETAILS: “GRANT WRITING DONE RIGHT” is the latest in SATCO’s series of workshops. In this workshop, attendees will learn the essential skills for finding and obtaining grant money for their theaters, from researching grant programs to writing winning proposals.
Panelists will include MARGARET BARRON (SAN ANTONIO KIDS EXCHANGE), BRENDA THARP (TEXAS COMMISSION ON THE ARTS), and LEE HURTADO (PRIMADONNA PRODUCTIONS, INC.).
BACKGROUND: The SAN ANTONIO THEATRE COALITION (SATCO) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, nonprofit service organization founded in 1995 to facilitate communication and cooperation among the many theatre organizations in and around San Antonio, Texas. Whether a theatre is college/university, community based, professional or a combination, each contributes to the vitality of theatre in the area. SATCO exists to provide a unified entity, which helps all theatres to meet the challenges of the future as San Antonio and its arts continue to grow. SATCO provides many benefits to members as well as the entire theatre community, including an informational website, the Playbill (a listing of current and upcoming productions), E-Auditions, cast parties and workshops to name a few.
